Our Classic Boats

My 1965 Razorback Fury rescued from a trash
pile. We did a full restoration on her and my addiction to classic fiberglass
boats was born. We had a blast with it and finally sold it to a man in
Arkansas who gave it to his wife for a Christmas present. That's ok... I have another one just
like it! ;) See the full
restoration HERE

Woo Hoo! I finally managed to grab a Vali IV. Talk about a rare boat.. Not
too many of these were ever made, let alone still around. This one is VERY
complete, and even came with the original GLO POLE stern light! Man, look at
those fins. Totally wild! I cannot wait to get this one redone and in the water.
More pics to come a little later!

My second Razorback Fury. This one is a 1964
model and has all the original trim still in place. I traded a
flatbed trailer for this
rig, brought it home, cleaned it up, buffed it, and slipped on a 40hp Elgin
outboard. This one will be redone yellow and white with an early 60's 40 horse
Evinrude.
This is my 1964 Glasspar Super G with the original 160hp 260 Ford V8. I got this
little jewel from the
owner of www.fiberglassics.com
and drove 1600 miles to pick it up. Currently awaiting a complete
restoration, it is a
flat bottom 16 footer and really screams.

I purchased this 1964 Lone Star Flamingo from
my uncle in 2004. It is all original except for the seats and runs
like a dream.
The air horns originally came from my mom & dad's first boat, and still
works. There's nothing
really fancy or unusual about this one, but we love it.
And Casey learned to kneeboard behind it!
This is a neat little 1958 Blue Star I picked
up from Jerry Gilkeson of MN. He met the kids and I at the
Fiberglassics
Nationals in Rockton IL in 2004 where we put it in the water and played a little
bit. It's a
blast to ride in and really has some awesome fins!

I bought this '58 or '59 GlassCraft from a
friend up in WI for $200 with no motor or trailer. I have always
admired these boats and once I heard this one was for sale I just had to have
it! You gotta love those
monster fins! I picked the 70 hp Chrysler up on Ebay for $63 and I picked it up
on the way back from WI.

I found this FREE 1958 Lone Star Malibu about
an hour south of home. I've always wanted an aluminum boat
with fins, so when this one came up I jumped on it. It is super, super straight
and will be very nice once it's
redone. Just needs paint, wood in the transom, and upholstery! Colors will
probably be yellow and white.

I won this 16' molded mahogany hull on ebay for a
whopping 99 cents! Since I was about 12 or 13 years
old I had wanted to build a wood boat, but always knew I wouldn't be able to
build the framework and
hull. I remember looking at old magazines from the 50's and wishing I had one of
these hulls. Now, 30
years later I have one! She'll have a low, sleek profile, dual cockpits, and
direct drive inboard VW power!
Kristen's "new" 1957 Glass Magic Ski Master Sr. We pulled this one
out of an old boat junkyard in Texas.
The color will be purple and white, and power will probably be a set of twin
1956 Johnson 30 horses I
picked up in New Orleans a couple of years back.
15' Powercat. Another Texas junkyard treasure. We
almost got stuck a couple of times getting this one
out of the yard, but finally
made it. Plans call for bright blue metallic paint with yellow, orange,& red
flames with twin 80 hp Mercs. Oh yeah!

1960 Razorback Ski Jet that I bought on Ebay.
It was in Maryland and took quite a
while to juggle home to Louisiana. Thank God for cross country friends with
trailer hitches!
This is a 1957 (we believe) Fleetform we drug
out of the old boat yard in Texas. I really love this barrel back
design and the
boat is in good shape for it's age and considering where it was located. Trey
got the first ride.

My latest addition is a '58 or '59 Sea Fury I
picked up in Dallas for the sum total of... FREE! I've been searching
for one of these for the last 2 1/2 years and finally hit the jackpot. The Sea
Fury company began after they purchased a Fleet Form (like the one I have) and
added fins to it. I will redo both the Sea fury and the Fleet Form to match.
Casey's 1950's FiberGlide that we pulled from Captain Hook's Junkyard. This
was the last boat we saved
before the city went in with bulldozers and wiped the place out. Love those
funky fins!
